The video - Earth, Fire, Sky- is a brief visit with four Korean ceramic craftsmen who continue ancient traditional ways of working with clay. It provides insight into their lives, their philosophies and their artistry. It explores how these ceramic craftsmen work with earth to create objects that grace the earth and sky and use fire to make them permanent. We hope our viewers gain a better understanding of these processes, a deeper understanding of Korean culture and are inspired to use ideas from these ancient Korean ceramic processes to create new objects of art.
