Chun Hyang Jun is one of the most famous classic stories of Korea, based on a true story of the Yi Dynasty. Yi-Doryung, a son of a magistrate, falls in love with Chun Hyang, who is not of noble blood. Yi-Doryung's father gets a new government assignment in HanYang (Seoul). Yi-Doryung promises Chun Hyang that he will return for her. The new Magistrate wants Chun Hyang but she refuses to give in despite torture and imprisonment. In a dramatic conclusion, Yi-Doryung returns as a special magistrate to save and marry Chun Hyang. Chun Hyang's chastity and integrity is revered even now in Korea.
