Chun Hyang Jun

Description: 
Chun Hyang Jun is one of the most famous classic stories of Korea, based on a true story of the Yi Dynasty. Yi-Doryung, a son of a magistrate, falls in love with Chun Hyang, who is not of noble blood. Yi-Doryung's father gets a new government assignment in HanYang (Seoul). Yi-Doryung promises Chun Hyang that he will return for her. The new Magistrate wants Chun Hyang but she refuses to give in despite torture and imprisonment. In a dramatic conclusion, Yi-Doryung returns as a special magistrate to save and marry Chun Hyang. Chun Hyang's chastity and integrity is revered even now in Korea. Features famous actors and actresses and filmed on the historic location, Nam Won and the Folk Village.
