The Second Annual International Careers Week kicks off with an introduction to international careers that covers all sectors and regions. Lance Erickson (Assistant Director, Slavic Center) and Amy Carey (Assistant Director, East Asian Studies Center) begin the discussion that includes the importance of learning languages (especially LCTLs) and how to utilize study abroad. Following the general introduction Adrienne O'Neal (Diplomat in Residence, University of Michigan) will discuss careers with the U.S. Foreign Service. This session is a useful introduction for those planning to attend any of the International Careers Week events.
